First, in terms of lighting conditions; A cannabis growing facility should be in an area that receives direct and continuous exposure to the sun for most of the day. Second, in terms of temp. The area where a growing facility is located should match the temperature ranges to the ideal of cannabis plants. Nor can the temperature range between day and night be too wide. Similar care is also required for stable moisture percentages that do not move and move too little or more than the desired ideal. The greenhouses are equipped with all the accessories and infrastructure needed to produce an ideal situation at any given moment. However, the goal is not to exaggerate what is unnatural out of the understanding that the nature around us produces an excellent area for growing medical and quality cannabis.

For all these reasons, we have chosen to locate our breeding facility at its entrances. Fethiya is located in the center of the country, in a very comfortable area in terms of temperature, humidity and intensity of solar radiation. In addition, its opening is in a logistically selected location. That is - the facility is very accessible to service personnel who take care of the maintenance of the greenhouses and equipment in the contents. Also, our breeding facility is in an accessible center for fast deliveries all over the country. Although the farm in Fatah enjoys clean air and exposed sun, similar to the other agricultural fields in the area, unlike them it was built on a height of a few meters to prevent the various pesticides and sprays of the various farmers in the area from entering our greenhouses.

The development of our genetics began in Kibbutz Elifaz in the south of the country, near Eilat. There, in our first breeding facility, we located varieties that could withstand the Mediterranean sun effectively at one of the points where it burns at full intensity. There was born, among other things, the Queen of the Desert - the species that knew how to withstand the Israeli sun best, and even thrive in its powerful radiation. The continuation of the development work that began at Kibbutz Elifaz takes place in our Department of Growth and Cell Cultures. Within this department we take care of purifying the genetics from the various bacteria, molds and fungi that are caught on the plants at the end of each cycle. Thus we take care to preserve and slowly improve the immunity of the mother plants that make up the skeleton of all our genetics, and your inflorescence.

The main purpose of the greenhouse is to make sure that nothing interferes with the plants reaching their best performance. There are countless criteria to keep in mind, but taking care of proper lighting is one of the most important. For a cannabis plant to grow properly it needs many hours of intense light in a fairly specific spectrum range, especially genetics that thrive under the Israeli sun. However, even the intense Israeli sun does not always provide the maximum. There are cloudy days and cold seasons characterized by short days and weaker radiation that leaves room to add light in our greenhouses. The artificial lighting needed to support full growth and flowering processes needs to be powerful, spectrum accurate and environmentally efficient. To meet all of these characteristics, advanced greenhouse gas-integrated LED bulbs have been installed in our greenhouses to ensure that there is not a single day when plants do not have enough light.

In addition, proper compound and air movement also play a major role in growing cannabis plants. The cannabis plant reproduces through wind in nature and will therefore thrive in environments with high air turnover that helps in its proper development. But not every day brings with it a strong wind, all the more so in a closed greenhouse. In addition, the air on Earth contains various gas compounds that vary from region to region and cannabis plants, like many others, can benefit from a high presence of CO2 in the air. The air we breathe contains about 200-600 particles per million of carbon dioxide. Cannabis plants thrive in enriched air that holds even 1,500 particles per million of carbon dioxide. To meet the ventilation needs with the right gas compound, the right wind power and even the exact temperature we use an advanced ventilation system with a continuous deployment of blowers, huge fans, filters and the highlight - a CO2 burner that produces carbon dioxide for greenhouses at any given moment.

Nature is an amazing thing, but it is not an ideal partner for commercial farming at any given moment. There are pests, competition for fertilizers and nutrients in the soil and of course surprises in the weather. The purpose of any agricultural growing facility is to provide ideal conditions for the process of producing a particular natural product, whether it is medical cannabis or an olive grove. That is, minimize the amount of surprises to the absolute minimum and provide the resources needed for rich and healthy nutrition. That is, the purpose of the greenhouse is to glorify nature - and that is exactly what we do.
