Enrichment The benefits of local produce

Why is all our produce local?

In short, the use of local cultivation makes it possible to ensure an accurate therapeutic sequence with more fresh produce than when working with imported varieties. But if you still go into depth, there are a few more reasons why in the medical cannabis market it is better to work with local produce. Imports of medical cannabis products slow down the development of the local industry, and are therefore designed to meet temporary shortages. In addition, importing inflorescences from abroad impairs the frequency of supply and tends to disrupt the therapeutic continuum of many. Finally - and perhaps most importantly: when it comes to organic medical produce, history shows that it is best to shorten the distance and factors between farm and customer.

In short: a therapeutic sequence

First, medical cannabis products in Israel are inflorescences and oils, that is, biodegradable organic substances intended for use as medicine. ZA, the company that manufactures them always has two tasks:
A. Ensure a continuous supply of medicine to patients with the highest standards of quality, cleanliness and measurement.
B. Grow, process, measure and pack biodegradable organic product, that is - one whose composition is sensitive to changes from exposure to inappropriate light, heat and ventilation conditions and without preservatives.
When they succeed in fulfilling these two at the same time, the patients constantly enjoy a quality and fresh inflorescence throughout the entire process, or in short - a therapeutic sequence.

Import varieties in Israel

The import of medical cannabis products in Israel was initially intended to meet the shortages of Sativa T20 / C4 strains that were created in the country after the reform, which removed a significant portion of them from the shelf. The intention was to solve damage to the treatment sequence of tens of thousands of patients, and so it happened - but relying on imported varieties these days can amount to damage to the treatment sequence due to irregular supply.

The solution became a problem

Relying on imported medical cannabis products when the market is in strong competition usually leads to more frequent damage to the patient's therapeutic sequence. Imported varieties come in a regular, more supervised supply and in many cases more expensive and have a less stable demand curve. That is, the quantity is limited and there is nowhere to fill a shortage if there is an increased demand or a problem with quality tests. Unlike them, local varieties are usually available more frequently and their supply is more efficient. Depending on the stable demand curve, their price is also expected and often significantly lower than imported products. But more importantly - they are also fresher.

Organic = fresh

When looking at experienced medical industries that rely on organic raw materials it is noticeable to note that imported products will almost always be found on the shelves. However, fresh organic produce would be more recommended when it comes to a drug whose freshness affects the intensity of its effect. All the more so if its freshness is easily impaired by improper preservation and especially when it comes to an herbal remedy. Organic produce is preserved without preservative chemicals and therefore its freshness is an important measure of its quality.

There is no quick fix

The medical cannabis industry in Israel is still young, and there are no shortcuts to Canada. That is, there is no quick fix to establishing a local industry that grows, processes and transports medical cannabis in a wide range of categories to a wide range of medical and patient labels. But despite the challenge, with the help of ensuring ideal growing conditions and the process of selecting and developing genetics that will love the Mediterranean sun - we in the vast nature prefer and enjoy a seamless therapeutic sequence and no import varieties.
